Cockpit Suite / War Thunder / Community project
Connect more vehicles together
War Thunder offers an enormous variety of tanks, aircraft and ships. Many vehicles must be unlocked before we can investigate their telemetry. As a small development project, we cannot unlock, test and fully document this variety on our own. That is why we need the community’s support.
Every useful recording helps us investigate and integrate further models and functions. Together, we can lay the groundwork for the instrument displays, switches and LED outputs that players, cockpit builders and hardware users want for their setups. Our goal is to support as many vehicles as possible in a useful way, where War Thunder provides the required data.
Vehicle inventory, no promise of support: This list contains 3,252 entries from the official War Thunder Wiki. An entry does not confirm testing or integration by Cockpit Suite. The module is in development: local operation only at present; LAN/client operation is not yet included.
How you can help
Have you already unlocked vehicles? You can help: the War Thunder module records telemetry during a test drive, test flight or game session. A short description of the vehicle functions you tested helps us understand the values supplied. You do not need programming skills.
- Contact us by email and tell us which vehicles you can test.
- By arrangement, registered users receive the development module and matching Hub. Start recording, test the agreed vehicle functions and then stop recording.
- Save the recording as a JSON file and provide it for analysis. Your recordings can help turn additional functions into usable features, step by step.
Is a vehicle missing or a name incorrect? Send us the exact variant, research tree and, if possible, a link to the official Wiki. We review additions and corrections before including them.
