YOUR DATA STAYS PRIVATE

Transparent from the start.

Controller and purpose

The controller is Viola Becher, Schusterskamp 6, 38547 Calberlah, Germany, info@cockpitsuite.com. We use this list for your requested project emails and to assess interest in CockpitSuite. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

What we store

We store your email address, language, optional selections, the consent wording and version, and registration and confirmation timestamps. Confirmation and unsubscribe tokens are stored only as hashes. A short-lived, secret-hashed IP reference is used to limit abuse; no IP address appears in the interest list.

Storage and recipients

The list is stored securely outside the public website directory. Our hosting and email providers process data for storage and delivery. Signing up does not send your details to Kickstarter or Discord. Only aggregate counts of confirmed people are public, never email addresses or individual preferences.

Retention and unsubscribe

Unconfirmed entries expire after seven days and are deleted on the next list access. Confirmed entries remain until you unsubscribe or the interest list ends. The unsubscribe link removes your address and preferences from the active list. Unsubscribed addresses must also be removed from exported lists.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent at any time for future processing. Your rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and you may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Details are voluntary; without an email address and consent we cannot add you to the email list. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made.

Questions or erasure requests: info@cockpitsuite.com. Updated: 6 October 2026.
